Kasey Remel Palmer

Kasey Palmer finished the 2025–26 season with a winner's medal at Wembley. On 12 April 2026 Luton Town beat Stockport County 3–1 in the EFL Trophy final. Palmer had arrived on loan from Hull City in January.

That month of April went well for him personally too. He scored five goals and provided one assist, and was named EFL League One Player of the Month. Luton signed him permanently in July 2026 for a fee reported to be just under £500,000.

The route to Luton was a long one. Palmer spent eight years at Charlton Athletic's youth set-up before Chelsea took him into their academy in March 2013. There he won the FA Youth Cup in 2013–14, the UEFA Youth League in 2014–15 and the Under-21 Premier League. He signed his first professional contract in 2016 but never played a senior competitive match for Chelsea, and instead went out on loan to Huddersfield Town, Derby County, Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City.

Bristol City made the move permanent in August 2019 for a fee of about £3.5 million. Swansea City had him on loan for the 2020–21 season. In 2022 he moved to Coventry City, and in August 2024 to Hull City.

Palmer represented England at every level from Under-17 to Under-21 and won the Toulon Tournament with the Under-21s in 2016. In 2021 he switched to Jamaica and made his debut against the United States on 25 March that year. His first international goal came on 28 May 2025 against Trinidad and Tobago. He has 23 caps and two goals, and won a CONCACAF Nations League bronze medal with Jamaica in 2024.
