About the player
Killian Corredor grew up around the game rather than discovering it cold: his father, Grégory, played semi-professionally for Rodez Aveyron, and Toulouse FC picked him up for the 2017–18 season. He spent three years with Toulouse's reserve side, scoring 12 goals in 32 appearances.
The breakthrough came back where he started. Corredor returned to Rodez AF on a free transfer in the summer of 2021 and made his professional debut that September against Auxerre in Ligue 2. It took three seasons for the numbers to catch up with the promise: in 2023–24 he scored 13 league goals and 19 in all competitions across 44 games, a return that pushed Rodez into the promotion playoffs.
That season took him to Germany. SV Darmstadt 98 paid a reported transfer fee to bring him into the 2. Bundesliga in August 2024, and he became one of the club's leading scorers, picking up Player of the Matchday honours more than once during the 2025–26 campaign. It was enough to earn him a return to France with FC Nantes on a four-year contract in July 2026. In his opening matches back in Ligue 2 he scored twice, including a brace against Rodez, the club that gave him his start, in a 5–2 defeat.
