Luca Damiano Molinari

Luca Molinari's career to date has a single-club shape: he joined the youth setup at 1. FC Normannia Gmünd in 2006 and stayed until 2025, working his way up to a senior debut in the Verbandsliga WFV. Across his time with the first team, spanning the promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, he made 125 appearances and scored 31 goals with 7 assists.

That scoring habit was not a one-off. In the 2024/25 season he was joint top scorer at the club with five goals, and his performances earned him six nominations to the "FuPa-Elf der Woche", the regional team of the week, over that campaign. It was enough to catch the eye of SG Sonnenhof Großaspach, who signed him after their own promotion to the Regionalliga Südwest. Molinari made the move in June 2025 on a two-year contract.

He is comfortable using either foot. His move to Großaspach came without a transfer fee attached, reflecting his status as a product of Normannia Gmünd's own academy rather than a market signing.

Sonnenhof Großaspach now gives him his first taste of Regionalliga football, a step up from the regional and Oberliga football that shaped him. He has not featured for any German youth national side, and his career so far carries no major titles or individual honours beyond the weekly team recognitions picked up in his final season at Gmünd.
