About the player
Moussa Faty arrived at Dijon in the summer of 2026 on a free transfer from Le Puy Foot 43, where he had been playing in National 1, and put pen to paper on a first professional contract running until June 2028.
Born in Toulouse, Faty came through Toulouse's youth ranks before his path took him away from the top academies and through a string of clubs in the French regional and national leagues: Colomiers, Rodez's reserve side, Bergerac, and finally Le Puy Foot 43.
A left-back by trade, he is expected to compete for the left-side berth at Dijon following the departures of Ismaïl Diallo and Fady Khatir, giving him a route into the side rather than a guaranteed starting shirt.
