About the player
Nikolay Titkov returned to Lokomotiv Moscow on 10 September 2026, when a buyout clause of 125 million roubles was activated. He signed a contract that runs to the end of the 2028/29 season. Lokomotiv's academy is where he had finished his youth career, after joining in 2018 from Master-Saturn in Egorievsk, where he had played since 2007.
His senior football began at Lokomotiv-Kazanka, the club's second team. From 2019 to 2021 he scored 12 goals in 31 matches, a return that stands out for a central midfielder. Lokomotiv's Russian Cup win in 2020/21 is among his honours.
He then spent three years at Orenburg, making 66 appearances and scoring four goals. The team took bronze in the First League in 2021/22.
His time at Baltika shaped the last stage of his career before the move back to Moscow. He arrived in June 2024 on a one-year loan with an option to buy, and Baltika exercised that option on 11 July 2025 for a reported €80,000. By then he had already won the First League with the club in 2024/25. In all he played 47 matches for Baltika and scored seven goals.
Titkov has not played for the senior Russian national team.
