About the player
Rashid Magomedov trained with the first team under Pavel Vrba in the 2016/17 season and even making the bench for a match, though a competitive debut for the senior side never came. He left in 2017 for Legion Dynamo Makhachkala, where he scored 11 goals in seven appearances in the 2020/21 season alone.
The move to Forte Taganrog in September 2021 turned out to be the making of him. He scored 11 goals in 26 appearances and then 8 in 23, earning him the title of Best Player of the Second League, Group 1, for 2022/23. That form took him to Rotor Volgograd in the summer of 2023, and a spell at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk followed without goals to show for it.
In July 2026, Magomedov signed for Arsenal Tula as a free agent on a contract running to 2028, taking the number 11 shirt. There is no record of a call-up to the Russian national side.
