S. Constable

Scott Constable is the second-youngest player to make a senior debut for Dundee United. It came in September 2023 against Airdrieonians, the same month he signed his first professional contract, which runs until at least June 2027. He had come through the club's academy and up to the B team.

That season brought one first-team appearance. The next step was to play regularly elsewhere, and he has done so through a series of loans.

From January to May 2025 he was at Stirling Albion, where he made 13 league appearances. In October 2025 he moved to Airdrieonians, the club he had made his debut against. He stayed until May 2026 and played 11 league games. In July 2026 he joined Arbroath for a loan that runs to June 2027, and he has made six league appearances there so far. All three moves were free transfers.

Constable has also played for Scotland at youth level. He made his debut for the Under-17s in 2024. In October 2025 he was called up to the Under-19 squad for friendlies against Italy, and he also featured against Poland and Sweden. He has not yet won a senior cap.

He has had to move between clubs to find minutes. His record so far is one appearance for Dundee United and 30 league appearances across three loan spells.
