About the player
Yusuf Koçaturk signed for Ümraniyespor in July 2024, in the district of Istanbul where he was born. Fenerbahçe agreed the deal on 11 July and kept a buy-back option in it.
He came through Fenerbahçe's academy: the U16s in 2019–20, the U19s from 2020 to 2023, and the A2 side in 2022–23. His name was in the senior squad from the 2021/22 season to 2023/24, but he made no official league appearances for the first team. His football there was played almost entirely in the youth ranks.
The 2023/24 season gave him regular senior football. Fenerbahçe loaned the left-footed centre-back to İnegölspor in the TFF 1. Lig, where he played 31 league matches and scored four goals. That is a notable return for a defender in his first season of men's football, and it preceded the move to Ümraniyespor.
At Ümraniyespor he played 19 league matches in 2025/26 and scored once. His contract there ran out, and on 1 July 2026 he joined Bandırmaspor on a free transfer, signing until 30 June 2028. He has played eight league matches for Bandırmaspor in the 2026/27 season.
