About the player
Yeboah Amankwah made his way through Manchester City's academy, joining the club's senior set-up in 2020, though a first-team league appearance never came. Instead his development came away from the Etihad: a loan at Rochdale in the autumn of 2020 was cut short by injury after two appearances, before a longer spell at Accrington Stanley the following year brought him 24 league games and the regular first-team football he needed.
The move that shaped his career came in September 2022, when he left English football for Belgium's Lommel SK. He stayed three years, making 46 appearances before departing in the summer of 2025.
Since then Amankwah has moved north. A free transfer took him to IFK Mariehamn in January 2026, where he made 12 appearances, before Inter Turku signed him that July. He is yet to add international caps to his record, either for England or Ghana, despite earlier interest from the Ghana under-20 set-up.
