About the player
Yılmaz Cin's first senior appearance lasted only a few minutes. On 10 November 2024 he came on in the 88th minute of Sivasspor's Süper Lig match against Fenerbahçe.
He grew up in Kahramanmaraş and started out at Maraş Spor, before moving to the Sivasspor academy in 2020. Goals were the mark of his youth years: in the TFF U15 Development League in 2022–23 he scored 29 times. He then played for the club's under-19 side, including in the U19 PAF League in 2024–25. Sivasspor gave him his first professional contract in August 2025, a three-year deal that runs to June 2028.
The step that changed his season came in January 2026, when he was loaned to Hatayspor in the TFF 1. Lig for the rest of the campaign. He scored eight goals in 15 league appearances, and added one more in the Turkish Cup. Across the season he made 19 appearances for Hatayspor and provided one assist. Alongside that, he also played twice for Sivasspor in the 1. Lig.
By September 2026 he was back at Sivasspor and had made five appearances in the 2026–27 season. He is no longer the teenager who appeared for the closing minutes against Fenerbahçe, but a forward with a full loan season of goals behind him.
