About the player
Vakulko is one of several Ukrainian players who spent the 2014–15 season in the Dnipro squad that reached the UEFA Europa League final. He went on to make 38 appearances for Dnipro before a move to Partizan Belgrade in January 2018, where he won the Serbian Cup that season. A year on loan at Arsenal Kyiv followed before he returned to Ukraine with Dnipro-1 in 2019, then left for Riga FC in 2021.
His spell in Latvia produced three goals in 34 appearances, and ended with a runner-up finish in the Latvian Higher League in 2022. Back in Ukraine with Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih from 2023, he made 40 appearances and helped the club to a bronze medal in the Ukrainian Premier League in the 2023/24 season. He signed for Ordabasy on a free transfer in June 2025.
Vakulko came through Ukraine's youth international set-up, collecting caps at under-16, under-19 and under-21 level, scoring twice in 16 appearances for the under-21s. He has not been called up to the senior national side.
