Yusuf Kefkir

Yusuf Çağlar Kefkir came up through Sivasspor's own academy. He joined the club's U19 side in August 2023 and played 26 matches in the U19 PAF Ligi, scoring once. That was enough for a senior debut in December 2023, when he appeared in both the Turkish Cup and the 1. Lig.

A left-footed defender, he had to wait for his first professional contract. He signed it on 11 September 2025, and it runs until 30 June 2028.

Regular football came next, away from Sivas. In January 2026 Sivasspor loaned him to Tokat Belediye Plevnespor of the TFF 3. Lig for the rest of the 2025–26 season. The loan began on 29 January and ended on 30 June. He did not score during the spell. He returned to Sivasspor in June 2026.

Among his 1. Lig outings, one match stands out in the numbers: he completed 79 per cent of his passes and won every duel he contested in his half of the game.

Kefkir has also been capped by Turkey at youth level. He played twice for the Turkey U18 side and did not score.
