The team travels for its official business, though: qualifying fixtures for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship have gone to Gradski stadion in Bijeljina, to Ugljevik, to Bilino Polje in Zenica itself, and to the Radnik ground in Hadžići, spreading the side's home matches across the country rather than fixing them to one address.

The players wear blue, white and yellow and answer to two nicknames, Zmajevi and Zlatni ljiljani — the Dragons and the Golden Lilies. Between 2016 and 2018 that side reached the finals of the European Under-17 Championship three years running, each time going out at the group stage.

Amer Gojak came through that generation as the age group's leading scorer, nine goals in nineteen appearances, before moving on to Željezničar, Dinamo Zagreb, Torino, Ferencváros and Rijeka, and later into the senior national team.
