Eintracht Rheine

Eintracht Rheine play in the Oberliga Westfalen, and they do it at the BA.rena in the Delsen district, a ground with room for 7,500. The stadium has changed its name more than once. It has been Stadion Delsen, the Auto-Senger-Stadion and the OBI Arena, and the club's own supporters put their loyalty into a hashtag, #hundertprofce, rather than a nickname.

The club exists because two others stopped being separate. VfB Rheine, whose roots reach back to 1907, and SG Eintracht Rheine, formed in 1920, merged on 10 June 1994. Behind them stands SC Borussia Rheine, founded in 1923, which won the Westphalian Championship in 1928 and went on to the West German Championship final round in the same year.

The merged side won the Westphalian Verbandsliga in 1998 and the Westphalian Cup in 2003.

The women's section was the more celebrated side in those early years. It reached the final of the German Cup (the DFB-Pokal) in 1997 and had the World Cup winner Kerstin Stegemann in its ranks. A year later, in 1998, it split away to become the independent FFC Heike Rheine, and the men's club carried on without it.

Marius Bülter spent the 2011–12 season here before making his way to the Bundesliga.

The match that draws the most attention is the one against Sportfreunde Lotte, the nearest rival.
