Kisvárda II

Kisvárda II won the NB III Északkeleti csoport title in the 2025-2026 campaign. The victory came with 58 points and a +31 goal difference. As a reserve side, the club finished first with a margin that would have guaranteed promotion for any other team, yet they were not eligible for the jump to NB II.

The team shares the Várkerti Stadion with the parent club, Kisvárda FC, which was founded in 1911. The ground has 2,850 covered seats. The kit is red and white, keeping the colours of the senior side. The reserve team has been active since at least 2020, stepping into the NB III Keleti group before settling into the Northeast division. They play under the umbrella of the main club, often called Kisvárda FC II or, in local shorthand, Várda II. There is no official founding date for the reserve side itself, but their presence in the lower tiers has been steady for half a decade.

Fedir Tkachenko, a 16-year-old goalkeeper, played in the colours before being sold to Real Betis in September 2024.

The rivalry is limited to the immediate region. Nyíregyháza Spartacus II is the main opponent in the division, a county derby in the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg area.
