Knokke

Knokke-Heist sits at the far end of the Belgian coast, against the Dutch border. It was British residents who started football there: they formed Knocke Football Club in 1905, and the club joined the Belgian FA in 1920. Ten years later it received the "Royal" prefix.

For most of its life Royal Knokke stayed out of sight in the provincial leagues of West Flanders. That began to change in 2013, when Henk Houwaart took over and led a climb through the divisions. It paid off in 2016–17, when the club won the Belgian Second Amateur Division and went up to the First Amateur Division. In 2019–20 it finished top of the same division again.

The Olivierstadion holds 3,000 and is also known as Burgemeester Graaf Leopold Lippens Park. The blue and white shirts have earned the club the nickname "Blauw-Wit", and supporters also call the team De Knokkes. Their fiercest local fixture is against K.S.K. Heist.

The 2023–24 Belgian Cup gave the club its widest audience. Ruud Vormer is the coach in 2026.

Apart from two division titles and that cup night, the club has little to show at the top of the game.
