DMTK Stadium

DMTK Stadion sits at the end of Mindszenty József utca in Dunaharaszti, a town where the club’s football section has played since training resumed there in 1978. The ground is not large, and it does not pretend to be. It is a local pitch with a clear history of maintenance rather than grand expansion. The surface is artificial turf, laid down in July 2013 after a renovation funded jointly by the Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) and the local municipality. This installation brought modern drainage and rubber granule infill. A further update to the turf was completed in 2022.

What stands out is not the capacity, which sources list variously as 1,000, 1,196, or 3,000, but the consistency of its use. Dunaharaszti MTK has played here for decades, competing in the third tier of Hungarian football. The ground has hosted local matches. One notable exception was a Magyar Kupa tie against Ferencváros in 2017, a match the home side lost 1-2, though no attendance figure was recorded for the occasion. The stadium has also been known as DMTK Sportpálya or Dunaharaszti Futballpálya.

The venue does not host concerts or major finals, nor does it have an attendance record that would warrant inscription. It is a working ground, maintained by municipal effort and federation support, serving a community that values continuity over spectacle. The artificial surface has lasted through two decades of play. The club’s history is tied to this patch of land, not to the numbers on a scoreboard or the capacity of the stands.
