Norac Stadion
Arendal, Norway
Formerly: Bjønnes stadion
Norac Stadion in Bjønnes. The site opened as Bjønnes Stadion in 1954. That history runs deeper than the current pitch. The venue once hosted the Norwegian Speed Skating Championships in 1965, before the surface was converted to artificial turf following a major reconstruction in September 2017. The rebuild cost roughly 50 million NOK and brought the stadium under the new name Norac Stadion after a sponsorship agreement with Norac.
The playing surface is synthetic, though the surrounding infrastructure retains an older character. The capacity figures vary between sources: Transfermarkt lists 3,238, while others suggest 5,000 with 2,492 seats. The discrepancy is unresolved, so neither figure is stated as fact here. What is clear is that the stadium serves Arendal Fotball, owned by the Arendal municipality, and sits within Agder county.
