The Euronics Ground

The Euronics Ground has sat at the end of Marsh Lane since 1927. It is not a grand venue. The capacity of 3,000 feels crowded against the landscape of North Lincolnshire, and of those spots only 240 are sheltered under seats.

The club’s own website calls it the 'Easy Buy Stadium', a nod to the weekly payment scheme that funds the season. Before that, it was the Euronics Ground. The name lingers in old records, particularly from the 2003–04 season when Grimsby Town pulled up their boots to play here. The official register still lists Marsh Lane as the primary identifier, but nobody walks in saying that. The pitch is natural grass, firm underfoot, maintained by the Northern Counties East League (NCEL) standards rather than any top-flight ambition.

Barton Town F.C. were Barton Town Old Boys FC when they started. They changed their name in 2017, shedding the ghosts of the amateur side that once played here. The original club, formed in 1880, moved to this patch of earth in 1927 and never left until they dissolved. The current tenants simply picked up the keys. There have been no major rebuilds. The stands look the same as they did a decade ago. A car park was extended recently, a minor concession to the influx of visitors on match days. Nothing else has changed. The ground holds its cards close, waiting for the next season to begin.
