Tunceli Atatürk Stadyumu

There is a small stadium in Tunceli. The ground sits in the Atatürk Mahallesi district.

The capacity is 1,200, a number that has not changed despite the surface being refreshed twice. The first renovation, when rolled turf was installed, took place in 2011. The second, following damage to the infrastructure in the region, occurred in 2023–2024. The pitch remains natural grass.

The ground does not have a website of its own. It is managed by the municipality, which maintains a single portal for civic matters. It was built in 1985, though a local report once described a 2011 renovation as the first since construction in 1990. The date of opening is secondary to the fact that it has stood there since the mid-1980s.

Dersimspor play here. The club has appeared in Turkish Cup fixtures against sides like Galatasaray.

They are ignored. The city of Tunceli, now known by this name after 1989, offers little in terms of major sporting infrastructure.
