About the player
Cuba was born in Beja and came through Benfica's academy, passing through the U15, U17 and U19 age groups before moving on to Tondela's youth ranks. He made his senior debut there and settled into Liga Portugal 2 football, with 32 appearances and seven goals in 2022/23. He left for Farense in July 2024, signing a contract that runs to 2027.
Rather than establishing himself immediately at Farense, Cuba has spent the time since out on loan. He joined Anadia for the second half of the 2024/25 season and scored four goals in 12 appearances, before his current loan at Académica de Coimbra for 2025/26, where he has made 24 appearances and scored eight goals.
Across his career in Liga 3, Liga Portugal 2 and the Primeira Liga combined, he has made around 93 appearances and scored 14 goals. He plays as a right-footed forward and has yet to add any major title or individual award to his record.
