About the player
Daniel Polanco came through the youth system at Internacional de Bogotá, working his way up from the U20 side before establishing himself as a senior professional with the club. He moved to CD La Equidad in early 2022, a spell that took an unusual turn in late 2025 when the club was sold to the international investment group NX Football and rebranded as Internacional de Bogotá.
He stayed with the squad through that transition before moving on as a free agent in July 2026, joining Boyacá Chicó. The switch closed one chapter of a career built entirely within Colombian domestic football, with no move abroad and no call-up to any of the national team set-ups along the way.
Polanco has not collected team honours or individual awards in his career so far. He arrives with his profile still being written on the pitch rather than in the trophy cabinet.
