Joider Micolta

Joider Micolta came up through the youth ranks at América de Cali and made his professional debut for the senior side on 27 January 2022 under coach Juan Carlos Osorio. He spent the following seasons out on loan, building his reputation elsewhere. A left-footed midfielder, he wears the number 18 shirt for Deportivo Pasto.

The loan spells told the story of his development. At Cúcuta Deportivo in 2023 he was a regular, playing 28 league matches and scoring six goals. The following year, at Atlético Bucaramanga under Rafael Dudamel, he became a key figure in the squad, appearing 35 times with four goals and two assists. His goal in the playoffs against Millonarios proved decisive, and Bucaramanga went on to win the Torneo Apertura 2024, beating Independiente Santa Fe in the final.

In 2025 he moved on loan to La Equidad, a club that later rebranded as Inter Bogotá under new ownership. By early 2026 he had moved again, this time to Deportivo Pasto, where he currently plays. Each of these moves has been a loan rather than a permanent transfer, with América de Cali retaining his registration throughout.

At international level, Micolta has represented Colombia at youth level, earning a cap for the under-23 side in a friendly against Mexico in September 2023.
