Leo Mikić

Leo Mikić took a route to Bosnian football that ran through two continents. After coming through Dinamo Zagreb's youth ranks, the Croatian forward started his senior career at NK Slavija Pleternica before heading to Austria, where he played for FC Lustenau 07, Kapfenberger SV and SV Ried. In summer 2023 he joined Jeonnam Dragons in South Korea on a free transfer and making 9 appearances with a goal in K League 2.

Mikić's move to HŠK Zrinjski Mostar in June 2025 marked his first step into Bosnian football, and it paid off quickly. He won the Bosnian Supercup with the club that year, then added the Bosnian Cup in the 2025–26 season, as Zrinjski got over the line against Velež Mostar 2–1 on aggregate after a 1–0 first leg and a 1–1 draw in the return. His time in Mostar proved short, though: a year after arriving, he moved on again, this time to FK Sarajevo, once more on a free transfer.

At 180 cm and right-footed, Mikić built his career on steady progression through Austrian regional football rather than a single breakthrough move, before the South Korean detour and then his cup-winning run with Zrinjski gave him the most prominent silverware of his career to date. He has not been capped by Croatia's senior national team.
