S. Cordoba

Santiago Córdoba's career has been a tour of second divisions across three countries before a top-flight breakthrough finally arrived. Born in Cali, the forward started out at Atlético FC in Colombia's Primera B without finding the net, then moved to Peru, where Alianza Atlético gave him his first taste of goals and silverware: seven in 22 games and promotion to the Primera División. He stayed in Peru's second tier with Juan Aurich, where his return improved further — 12 goals in 21 appearances — before a short spell in Honduras with CD Marathón.

The turning point came back home. At Patriotas Boyacá, Córdoba scored 16 goals in 37 Primera B matches during 2023, a season that ended with the Apertura title and, with it, promotion. He carried that form into the top flight, scoring five times in just six matches before an exit in the middle of 2024 that took him to Fortaleza CEIF. There the goals came more sparingly across two seasons in the Primera A.

Since January 2026, he has worn Deportivo Pasto's colours, where he has continued finding the net regularly in the Colombian top division, one of the more productive spells of his career in terms of minutes played per goal. Most of his moves between clubs have come on free transfers rather than fees. He has not been called up to the Colombian national team at senior or youth level. He should not be confused with Jhon Córdoba, the better-known Colombian striker who shares his surname.
