Crosby Awuah Memorial Park is located in Anyinase, a town in the Ellembelle District of Ghana’s Western Region. It hosted matches for Karela United FC after their promotion in 2017 and occasionally welcomed Basake Holy Stars FC. The ground carries a heavy name, honoring Brigidi Crosby Awuah, a former Member of Parliament, and is associated with events on June 20, 2021. Angry home fans attacked the visiting players, injuring midfielder Eric Kwakwa, and vandalized the team bus. The Ghana Football Association banned the park indefinitely due to severe security failures.
The facility has changed shape since those days. It underwent a renovation sponsored by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, with a handover in November 2020. This upgrade included an artificial AstroTurf pitch, making it one of the first such stadiums to host Ghana Premier League matches alongside the Tema Sports Stadium and WAFA Park.
The relationship between the ground and the league has soured. Following the club's relocation to Tamale and the subsequent ban, the stadium has fallen into disrepair, standing as a dilapidated structure in the town. It is commonly referred to by the acronym CAM Park, but its role as a central hub for football in Anyinase has faded.
