Flagler Credit Union Stadium
Boca Raton, United States
Formerly: FAU Stadium
For a long time, the venue was simply known as FAU Stadium, but the name changed in late 2024 to Flagler Credit Union Stadium after a new partnership deal was struck. The pitch, named Howard Schnellenberger Field, is natural grass and has seen plenty of action since the ground opened in 2011. It is best known for hosting the Boca Raton Bowl, an annual college football match that brings teams from across the country to South Florida. The inaugural game saw Marshall defeat Northern Illinois, and the competition has continued to draw crowds ever since.
The facility also hosted international football for a brief period, including matches between the United States and Honduras, as well as Germany and Ecuador. However, the primary focus remains on the Florida Atlantic Owls. The capacity sits at 30,000, though the record crowd for a game inside is 30,991, set when the Owls played UCF in 2022. The stadium is situated at 777 Glades Road, and while it hosts other events, such as a speaking engagement by Nick Vujicic in 2015, it is fundamentally a place for American football.
