Leading Drove

The Leading Drove pitch sits quietly in the Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley. The defining feature is the 3G surface, laid down in 2011. The club purchased the site in 1994, but the real transformation happened when they installed the main stand and floodlights the following summer. That structure accommodates 150 seated spectators out of the total 1,000 capacity.

Long before it hosted the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round match against Kettering Town in 2006–07, the ground was known by other names. Today, the image remains straightforward: a modest non-league venue that serves the community. A defibrillator cabinet stands accessible on the perimeter, donated by a local charity. The Hinchingbrooke Cup finals have been staged here, bringing a higher level of local rivalry into the village. It is a functional piece of infrastructure, updated for the needs of modern amateur football.
