Silver Jubilee Park

The ground does not stand out for its architecture or history. Silver Jubilee Park is a public park in Kingsbury that happens to house a football pitch. The site was renamed in 1935 to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V, though the football ground was not established until 1953 when the pitch was moved to its present location. The 2016 renovation has given it a specific character.

The work done that year transformed the place. A new 3G artificial turf surface, accredited by FIFA, was laid, and covered stands were built around the pitch. The capacity was adjusted to 1,990, though some records list 1,995. The seating is split: 180 seats in the Main Stand and 118 behind the goal. This is not a grand arena; the 298 seated spaces are functional. The floodlights were installed alongside the first stand in 1981.

The park has hosted two clubs in recent years. Hendon F.C. moved to the ground in 2016 on a groundshare with Edgware & Kingsbury F.C. The football history here is tied to the tenants rather than the venue itself. Hendon F.C. reached the FA Cup Third Round in the 1973–74 season, drawing with Newcastle United, and beat Reading in 1975–76. These achievements belong to the club, not the ground. The highest attendance recorded at Silver Jubilee Park for a competitive match was 722, for a play-off semi-final against Folkestone Invicta in 2018. The league record is 531, set in April 2023 against Poole Town.
