Tonawanda High School field

Tonawanda High School Field sits on a quiet corner of North Tonawanda, separate from the old Tonawanda Kardex grounds down the road. It is not a grand arena, but it holds its own in the NPSL Great Lakes Conference. The Buffalo Stallions play here, sharing the turf with the local high school.

There is a distinction to be made. The Kardex played at 600 Fletcher Street, a different patch of earth entirely. This stadium, at 1241 Strad Ave, is its own entity. The surface is natural grass, cut and kept under floodlights. The field is used for high school sports and league matches.

What stands out is the separation from the past. Here, the focus is on the current season.
