Vladimir Dyomin to Oversee Dinamo Vladivostok Youth Team
Dinamo SSHOR academy director Vladimir Dyomin will coordinate the new Dinamo-2 Vladivostok side joining the VTB Youth League for 2026/27.
Vladimir Dyomin, director of Dinamo's SSHOR academy will take charge of coordinating Dinamo's new Vladivostok youth team, which joins the VTB United Youth League for the 2026/27 season.
"The project was discussed long before Vladivostok joined the VTB League. A couple of years ago Eduard Sandler approached the management of the Moscow Basketball Academy of Moskomsport with a proposal for cooperation. The deal is set out in a contract between the two organisations, with the academy responsible for the youth team's day-to-day running and all organisational and sporting matters. Dyomin will oversee the processes around the Vladivostok side while staying in his existing post as director of the Dinamo branch within the Moscow Basketball Academy.
"For me this initiative is a big step in the development of our school: we are stepping up to youth basketball. We are always glad to support initiatives that will support the sport's growth," Dyomin said, adding that Dinamo-2's roster this season will include a significant number of graduates from the Dinamo school and the Moscow Basketball Academy. He said preparations are well advanced across all areas.
