Kostas Sloukas has described Željko Obradović as the greatest coach in the history of European basketball, days after Panathinaikos confirmed his return to the club.
"A lot of memories came flooding back straight away. I was very happy. When I joined Fenerbahçe I was 25 and a rotation player. Thanks to his help and guidance, I left there as a star," Sloukas said.
Sloukas backed the return, citing Obradović’s work ethic and a five-year Fenerbahçe record where he went from rotation player to star.
