Draymond Green Warns Michael Porter Jr. Over Attitude
Green says Porter Jr.'s admitted loss of motivation after missing the All-Star Game could have cost him a trade and contract extension out of Brooklyn.
Draymond Green thinks Michael Porter Jr. will pay a price for admitting he lost motivation after missing out on the All-Star Game.
"I think had he played well down the stretch of the season, he probably wouldn't be on the Nets anymore. He could have been traded somewhere with a contract extension to follow. Every action has consequences, and I think this is one of those consequences for Michael Porter. People will remember it. And teams looking to sign him will factor that in too. Then again, there were guys who didn't make the All-Star Game but made an All-NBA team, which is harder," said Green.
Porter, a forward for Brooklyn, said in the spring that he had lost the drive to perform at a high level after being left off the All-Star roster.
