Kevin McCullar Jr. re-signs with Knicks
The Knicks brought back forward Kevin McCullar Jr. on a two-way deal, his third, while also signing 2026 draft pick Tyler Nickel.
The New York Knicks have re-signed Kevin McCullar Jr. to a two-way contract, his third such deal with the club.
The 25-year-old forward played 21 games for the Knicks last season, averaging 2.4 points in 7.4 minutes. His numbers with the Westchester Knicks in the G League told a different story: 16.8 points, 6.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds a game across 14 appearances.
New York also put a two-way contract in front of Tyler Nickel, taken with the 47th pick in the 2026 NBA draft.
Two-way deals cap a player's NBA appearances and let clubs shuttle him between the main roster and the G League affiliate. For McCullar, a third season on that arrangement points to a role still developing at Westchester rather than settled in New York.
