About the player
Aidan Daniels grew up in the Toronto FC academy, having started out at Ajax FC and Richmond Hill SC before joining the club's youth setup in 2012. He worked his way through Toronto FC III and Toronto FC II before signing a homegrown contract with the first team in April 2018, making his MLS debut that year.
A loan to Ottawa Fury FC in 2019 was followed by a move south to the USL, where he played for Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and then OKC Energy FC. In January 2022 he joined HFX Wanderers FC, making 80 appearances and contributing 5 goals and 6 assists.
Daniels signed for Pacific FC in January 2025 on a two-year deal with a club option for 2027. His new spell has already produced a pointed moment: in the 2025 Canadian Premier League season he was named to the Gatorade Team of the Week for week 19 after scoring from a free-kick and setting up another goal in a 2-2 draw against HFX Wanderers.
