A. Resch

Agustín Resch grew up in Arata, La Pampa, and worked his way through a string of local clubs — Rivadavia de Arata, Old Boys de Trenel, Racing de Castex — before joining the Argentinos Juniors youth academy in 2019, where he stayed for four years. He took the college route, moving to the United States to play for the Seton Hall Pirates from 2023 to 2025. He was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year and earned First Team All-America honours in 2025. Alongside his college commitments he kept playing summer football in USL League Two, turning out for Ocean City Nor'easters in 2024 and Asheville City SC in 2025. His route into Major League Soccer came through the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, where Houston Dynamo picked him in the third round, 69th overall, using a selection acquired from Chicago Fire FC in a swap for defender Chase Gasper. Houston signed him first to an MLS NEXT Pro deal with Houston Dynamo 2 in February 2026, then promoted him to a first-team contract the following month, tying him to the club through the 2026 season with club options that could keep him in Houston into 2028–29. He plays right-footed at centre-back and wears the number 34 shirt for the Dynamo. He has yet to add a senior cap for Argentina to his record.
