Ángel David Sayago

Ángel David Sayago played for Raya2 Expansión, the reserve side of CF Monterrey, where he finished the Apertura 2022 as the tournament's top scorer with five goals in six games and closed the season with eleven goals in 29 appearances. He had come through the Independiente academy and made his first-team debut for the Argentine club in December 2021.

A brief return to Independiente was followed by a move to Club Sport Herediano in Costa Rica, a switch reportedly recommended by Carlos Tévez, his coach at the time. He scored three goals in eight matches there before a spell at Defensores de Belgrano, where his contract was terminated after four goals in nineteen appearances. The most productive run of his career came at CF Atlante, signed on loan for a $100,000 fee with buyout options rising to $2 million: sixteen goals in 41 Liga de Expansión appearances, including a brace against Tepatitlán and a goal in a 3-1 win over Correcaminos UAT.

Short stints at Tristán Suárez and Arsenal de Sarandí followed before his move to Real España, where he has scored four goals in seven Liga Nacional matches. He has never been capped by Argentina at any level.
