Denis Adamov

Denis Adamov came through the Krasnodar academy, working his way up through Krasnodar-2 and Krasnodar-3 before a first-team debut in the 2017/18 season. His run in Krasnodar's shirt stayed brief — three appearances in total, including a Russian Cup outing and a league debut against Dynamo Moscow.

Zenit signed him in July 2023, and Adamov has settled into the goalkeeping rotation at the club rather than arriving as an immediate first choice, with nine league appearances in his debut season growing to 26 in 2025/26. The trophies have followed: the Russian Premier League title in both 2023/24 and 2025/26, the Russian Cup in 2023/24, and the Russian Super Cup in 2024 and 2026. His form in the most recent campaign was recognised individually, with Adamov ranked second in the list of the 33 best footballers of the Russian championship for 2025/26.

His international story stretches back further than his senior recognition suggests. Adamov won bronze at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2015, part of the same generation that came through Krasnodar's youth ranks. It took over a decade for that promise to translate into senior international football: he made his debut for Russia on 9 June 2026, coming on as a substitute in a friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago.
