I. Suarez

Ignacio Suarez-Couri came through the Atlanta United academy without ever having played for another club, and by 16 he had already made his mark on the club's second team. On 27 August 2025, at 16 years and 146 days old, he scored against Inter Miami CF II, the youngest player in Atlanta United 2 history to find the net. He had signed with the second team that April and made his professional debut in the same year.

The following season brought a heavier contribution. In 2026 he made 17 appearances for Atlanta United 2 in MLS NEXT Pro, scoring once and setting up four more, enough to make him the youngest player to reach five goal contributions in a single season in the competition's history. Two of those assists came in a 3-0 win over Chicago Fire II, a performance that earned him a place in the MLS NEXT Pro Team of the Matchweek for round seven.

Suarez-Couri holds dual citizenship of the United States and Venezuela, but his international career so far has run entirely through the American youth setup. He trained with the U-16 Men's Youth National Team in September 2024, then made his debut for the U-17 Men's National Team on 7 June 2026, going on to join the U-17 squad for a training camp in Brazil later that month.

That progress was rewarded in August 2026, when Atlanta United signed him to a short-term agreement with the first team.
