Ignacio Sabatini

Ignacio Sabatini's career has run almost entirely through Argentina's lower divisions, moving between clubs in Santiago del Estero, Mendoza and San Luis.

It was at Arsenal de Sarandí, where he arrived in 2024, that Sabatini's game came together. In the 2025 Primera Nacional season he scored 10 goals in 27 league appearances, and the high point came on 27 July 2025, when he scored a hat-trick against San Miguel in a 5–2 win. That form took his career tally to 21 goals across all competitions.

In January 2026, Sabatini completed a permanent transfer to Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza, finalised on 30 January, giving the forward his first taste of Argentina's Primera División after a career built entirely in the Primera Nacional and Torneo Federal A. Some reports had described the move as a loan, but it was later confirmed as a permanent registration. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, in keeping with the rest of his transfer history: none of his previous moves between clubs carried a reported fee.

He has not been capped by Argentina at any level, senior or youth, and his rise has come purely through performances in the domestic lower leagues rather than international recognition.
