Jhonier Alfonso Blanco Yus

Blanco's best season did not come at Águilas Doradas, where his career began in 2021, but on loan at Fortaleza CEIF in 2023. He scored 21 goals that year, 13 of them in the league, finishing as top scorer of the Categoría Primera B and helping the club win the title and win promotion to the Categoría Primera A, and it earned him a move abroad the following year.

That move, a free transfer to Tanzania's Azam FC in July 2024, did not work out. Blanco struggled to adapt to the league and managed only three league appearances without scoring before the club released him in September 2025. He returned home as a free agent, signing for Llaneros FC in December 2025.

His time at Llaneros brought limited returns: 15 appearances in the 2026 season produced one goal and one assist. In July 2026 he went back to Fortaleza CEIF, the club where he had once been the league's top scorer, this time on a permanent free transfer. The reunion has started modestly, with one goal in seven matches so far.

Blanco plays as a forward and comes from a footballing family in Santa Marta known locally as the "Blanco Dynasty" — his father, Debray, and his brothers Debray Jr., Alex and Ruyeri have all played professionally, with Ruyeri turning out for Atlético Nacional and Unión Magdalena.
