About the player
Marlon Brandon Carabalí López came through Junior de Barranquilla's youth ranks before making his name with Barranquilla FC.
In 2025 he moved to Venezuela on loan with Academia Puerto Cabello, staying involved with the club into the 2026 season. Early in 2026, after his time with Barranquilla FC came to an end, Carabalí returned to Colombia and arrived at Cúcuta Deportivo for a trial. He impressed coach Richard Páez enough to earn a contract, and by July 2026 he had been officially signed for the second half of the season, joining on a free move with no fee reported.
He has not been capped for Colombia at senior or youth international level, and his time at Barranquilla FC and Cúcuta Deportivo has not yet brought a major title or individual award.
