About the player
Alexis Nicolás Monserrat began his senior career at Tristán Suárez in 2015, playing in the Primera B Metropolitana, then moved on through Almirante Brown, Argentino de Quilmes and Almagro.
His clearest achievement came at Talleres de Remedios de Escalada, where he became a key defensive figure as the club won the 2023 Primera B Metropolitana title and returned to the Primera Nacional after 28 years away from that division. He stayed on for the step up, making 26 appearances in the 2024 Primera Nacional season and scoring three goals, one of them in the Copa Argentina.
Monserrat left Talleres in January 2025 for Atlético Güemes on a free transfer, before a second free move took him out of Argentine football entirely in January 2026, when he signed for Leones del Norte in Ecuador. He has been a regular starter in the club's LigaPro Serie A campaign, appearing in 26 matches with an average rating of 7.0.
He has not been capped by Argentina at any level.
