About the player
They call him "El Dedos", and the nickname has followed Raúl López Gómez further than most of his clubs. A product of Deportivo Guadalajara, he made his professional debut with Chivas in 2013. Loan spells at Correcaminos UAT and Deportivo Tepic followed within a year.
The move that shaped his career came in 2016, when he joined CF Pachuca on loan before the transfer was made permanent. He stayed four seasons. A similar pattern repeated at Deportivo Toluca in 2020, loan first, permanent deal after, and another three-year stay.
In January 2023 he signed for Santos Laguna, where he remained until early 2025. A brief stop at Jaiba Brava followed for the Clausura 2025 tournament before he left Mexico altogether, signing for FC Rànger's in Andorra in October 2025.
