Conversano Women

The four straight Coppa Italia wins between 2015 and 2018 tell only part of what happened to Conversano over that stretch — the club also took the Serie A1 title in both 2015 and 2016, and added the Supercoppa Italiana in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The club started out as Amatori Handball Conversano in 1973. It later took the name Indeco Conversano through a sponsorship arrangement, though it is still known across Italian handball simply by its colours, red and blue, as the Rossoblù.

Not far down the road sits Casarano, and matches against Italgest Casarano are billed as the Derby Pugliese. Home games are played in front of up to 4,000 people at the Pala San Giacomo, a ground that has stayed with the club through both the lean years and the run of titles.

Coach Riccardo Trillini's name is tied to that mid-2010s period. Beneath the first team, the youth setup has kept producing Under-16 champions well beyond the club's peak years, with titles as recent as 2024–25 and 2025–26.
