«La Meute»
When La Ravoire-Challes talk about the run to Paris, they talk about the spring of 2026, when a team from a fourth-tier league reached the Accor Arena. The Coupe de France Amateur final against Laval, set for 24 April, was the first time the club had gone that far in the competition.
The club under that name is younger than the basketball played there. Sections from US La Ravoire and US Challes-les-Eaux had fielded teams for decades before they merged into a single structure in October 2004, taking the name that now carries the nickname "La Meute" — the pack, in blue and white.
Promotion came first in 2018-2019, when the club won the National 3 title and moved up to Nationale 2. The 2024-2025 season added a Regional Masculin 2 title in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes league.
Younger age groups have had their own moments: the under-17s took the Savoie-Mont-Blanc Cup in 2022.
