Sagrada Esperança

The Estádio Sagrada Esperança, still known locally by its old name, Quintalão do Dundo, holds 8,000 people in Lunda Norte Province, and it went through a full rebuild before reopening in 2008. Green and white run through both the stadium and the shirt. Sagrada Esperança was set up in December 1976 by Diamang, the state diamond firm now called Endiama, merging a team linked to the MPLA youth wing with supporters of the old Diamang staff side. The name itself comes from a poem by Agostinho Neto, Angola's first president, and the nickname that followed, Os Diamantíferos.

The 2005 title broke that pattern. A Supertaça followed in 2021, and two Taça de Angola wins, in 1988 and 1999, sit further back in the record.

Locally, the fixture that matters most is against Desportivo da Lunda Sul, played as the Clássico do Leste de Angola.
