Zrinjski U19

The pitch at Stadion pod Bijelim Brijegom sits below the White Hill on the outskirts of Mostar, and it is where Zrinjski's youth sides have grown up rather than merely trained.

White, black and red run through both sides' kit, one continuous identity rather than a junior copy.

The derby against Velež needs no explanation in Mostar; when the U19s meet their Velež counterparts, the rivalry is inherited whole, not built from scratch.

Matej Šakota came through this youth setup before making his name elsewhere, one of a handful of graduates the club points to when the academy's purpose is questioned.

On the pitch, the U19s have made a habit of the Premijer Liga BiH U19 title, taking it in 2016/17, again in 2021/22, and most recently in 2025/26, with a domestic youth cup added to the collection back in 2016. That run has also carried them into the UEFA Youth League, putting Mostar's next generation against opposition from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina — the level the club now measures itself against.
