Inside, the arena serves as a home for several local basketball and volleyball teams rather than hosting international fixtures. The Biñan Tatak Gel teams play their matches here, along with the former NBL side, the Laguna Pistons, which used the venue until 2022. International competitions have also found their way in: the AVC Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship passed through in 2016, while the AOFC Cup arrived in 2019.
The building also hosted concerts, including a visit from Engelbert Humperdinck in 2017 and Sarah Geronimo the year before. When the pandemic hit, the arena was temporarily repurposed as a quarantine facility, though it returned to its sporting function once the crisis subsided.
The arena sits adjacent to the Biñan Football Stadium, though the two serve different purposes. While the football stadium hosts regular league matches, the indoor arena fills a gap for basketball and volleyball in a city that lacks dedicated venues for those sports.
