Batangas City Sports Coliseum
Batangas City, Philippines
The Batangas City Sports Coliseum sits on De las Alas Drive. The venue has hosted MPBL games since the league’s first season in 2018. The home team has changed names over the years, from the Athletics to the Embassy Chill and now the Tanduay Rum Masters, but the court has remained the same. The city also uses the space for volleyball, bringing in teams like the Creamline Cool Smashers and the Petro Gazz Angels for Premier Volleyball League (PVL) matches. The Mayor's Cup tournament fills the benches most years, drawing barangay teams for basketball, volleyball, and football. The official capacity for basketball is four thousand. A city government document from 2007 originally planned for 4,500 seats, but the number settled lower. The ground is managed by the local administration and has no dedicated website of its own. The outside is plain concrete. You can see it from the road, but the action is inside.
